The Danish IP consultancy Patrade has published its annual report for the financial year from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026. The report shows a profit of DKK 15.3 million, compared with DKK 9.3 million the previous year. This is the highest profit in the company’s history.
The improvement was driven by significant revenue growth, generated through both increased business from existing clients and a strong influx of new clients. It is the result of targeted commercial and organisational initiatives as well as investments in business development, professional development and digitalisation, which will also support long-term growth.
“The result confirms that our strategy and approach to the market are working. The right IP strategy is essential to a company’s competitiveness and value creation in a complex market, which is why we discuss business and commercial challenges before we discuss IP. Clients increasingly demand advice that combines in-depth legal and patent expertise with commercial understanding and effective digital solutions. We have therefore made targeted investments in professional development, the recruitment of new specialists and the development of new technology, enabling us to cover the full spectrum from strategic IP advice to litigation and the global enforcement of rights online,” says Annette Bach, Managing Partner and CEO of Patrade.
Stronger team of specialists and partners
Patrade has worked systematically in recent years to build a strong team of specialists and partners to support the company’s continued development.
“We have assembled a strong team and strengthened our advisory services and business development in the areas where clients are experiencing growing demand, including online infringements. Growth has been achieved across all our core business areas, and we are continuing our focused recruitment efforts. At the same time, every one of our employees has made a tremendous contribution throughout the year,” says Annette Bach.
Digitalisation is also a key element of Patrade’s future growth strategy. The company is investing in the development and enhancement of both internal systems and digital platforms that give clients a better overview of their IP rights and support more efficient advice and administration.
For the current financial year, Patrade expects to deliver another satisfactory result. This expectation is supported by a strong first quarter, while the company continues to invest in its long-term development and growth.
