We are looking for a new colleague with a background in natural sciences and at least two years of experience in patent work. With us, you’ll have the opportunity to work with new technologies and inventions—often long before they reach the market. You will join an innovative environment and collaborate with companies that are focused on development and technology.
You’ll become part of a patent team of twenty professionals working closely across our three offices in Aarhus, Aalborg, and Copenhagen. You decide which location will be your base.
About You
-
A Master's or PhD degree in a natural science field—such as physics or a related engineering discipline.
-
Experience in fields such as physics, software, power electronics, or climate and environmental technology.
-
Strong English skills—both written and spoken—as most of our patent work is conducted in English and with international clients.
-
An interest in and talent for client-facing work.
-
A natural curiosity and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and understandably.
Your Role as a Patent Consultant
You will have a varied workday with assignments for both existing and new clients. You’ll receive thorough onboarding and continuous support from our experienced European Patent Attorneys. We also have a large legal department, where you can draw on the expertise of our attorneys.
Examples of tasks:
- Advising clients throughout the entire process from idea to patent—including strategy and filing.
- Drafting and managing patent applications.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues—including consultants, EPAs, and attorneys—to ensure the best possible advice for our clients.
- Building and developing your own client portfolio over time.
Practical Details
- Work location: Aarhus, Aalborg, or Copenhagen
- Start date: August 2025
- Application deadline: June 23, 2025. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
