Tobias Salomonsen

Tobias is Attorney-at-Law and part of our legal team.

After graduating top of his class from Aalborg University, Tobias began his legal career at the IP-department at one of Denmark’s leading full-service law firms, where he was admitted to the Danish Bar prior to joining Patrade in 2025.

Tobias combines a strong analytical approach with a well-developed legal overview in his handling complex IP litigation and advisory matters, as well as negotiation of IP-heavy international commercial agreements, including licence- and IT agreements. His work frequently spans the intersection of IP-law, competition law, contract law, IT-law and trade secrets regulation.

Tobias is further recognised for his technical understanding and his ability to engage with digitally and technologically complex industries, including the video games industry.

At Patrade, Tobias primarily focuses on complex IP litigation, advisory work, and contractual matters, particularly within technology-driven industries. Most recently, he litigated and won a landmark case concerning database protection and text- and data mining before the Eastern High Court.
