Solveig is one of our more experienced European Patent Attorney’s.  She has worked within the IP field for almost 20 years at some of Denmark’s largest industrial companies, such as Rockwool, Novo Nordisk, LM WindPower and Coloplast.

Solveig main focus is IP-strategy, competitor analysis and intelligence, due-diligence including negotiation and drafting of research and development agreements.

She also drafts and prosecutes patent applications, performs infringement assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses and patentability assessments.

Solveig has a B.Sc. in biochemistry from the University of Iceland and a M.Sc. in Chemical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.  She became an European Patent Attorney by passing the EQE in 2013. Solveig has worked with IP within a wide range of technology, such as:

Biochemistry/biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, different aspects of polymer based medical devices, membranes/filtering technology, production lines, heat exchange, furnaces and centrifuges, mechanics, and wind energy.
