
Nina Skivesen
Partner, European Patent Attorney, European Patent Litigator
After an extensive research career, Nina has worked as a development engineer in industry and as an IP adviser (in the patents field) internally at Patrade and at Zacco.
Nina is a member of our Patents team, where – in addition to filling the role as team leader – she advises on the entire process from IP strategy development to patenting.
She also advises on all stages of the patenting process, right from the initial deliberation stage where she performs novelty searches, maps out patent landscapes and performs freedom-to-operate analyses. In addition, Nina has extensive experience in patent application drafting and the entire process leading up to patent grant as well as subsequent patent monitoring.
Nina holds an MSc in technical physics from the University of Aalborg, specialising in optical engineering and materials physics. She also holds a PhD in physics, specialising in biosensors, which was her research field at Copenhagen University/Risoe national laboratories. She continued her research as a post doc at iNANO, Aarhus University, before embarking on a career in industry.
