Nanna has strong business acumen and practical experience in ensuring alignment of business strategies and patent strategies. She advises on business secrets, competitive intelligence and analysis, patent landscapes, IP management and business development support, contributing insight and tools from a patent perspective.

She has worked with IP for more than 13 years, initially as a consultant with a couple of Danish consultancy firms, advising small and large businesses within various technical areas. She has worked in the fields of physics, mechanical devices and computer-implemented inventions, among other areas.

Throughout her career, Nanna has built strong expertise in the field of IP, for example in the drafting of patent applications and the steps leading up to issuance of patents in several jurisdictions, inventors’ right to compensation in different parts of the world, freedom-to-operate analyses and patent perspectives in due diligence and development and partnership agreements.

Prior to joining our firm, Nanna worked in industrial businesses engaged in the development of catalytic converters, metallurgy, materials, process technology, environmental issues and 3D printing.

She holds an Msc in Physics and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Copenhagen.
