Mikkel Kleis
Partner, Attorney-at-law (H)
Mikkel is a specialist in intellectual property law with a strong focus on litigation. He represents Danish and international clients in disputes involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and design rights — including proceedings before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Mikkel is an experienced litigator and is admitted to appear before the Supreme Court of Denmark.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mikkel advises clients on the strategic management and commercial exploitation of IP rights, including registration, portfolio management, and drafting of IP-related agreements such as licensing and assignment contracts. He has in-depth experience at the intersection of IP, competition law, marketing law, and privacy law.
He also regularly assists clients in domain name disputes and has represented numerous companies before the Danish Complaints Board for Domain Names.
Mikkel is a board member of ADIPA (Association of Danish Intellectual Property Attorneys) and holds an LLM from Aarhus University. He is also a member of FICPI and AIPPI.
