Jonas Rubien

Jonas is a Partner and Attorney-at-Law based at our Aalborg office.

He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and began his career in 2015 with the Danish Patent and Trademark Office, working in the trademarks and designs department. His primary responsibilities included examining trademark applications, with a particular focus on assessing distinctiveness and identifying conflicting trademarks.

He subsequently joined a law firm, where he specialized in intellectual property law for more than nine years and gained extensive litigation experience. In 2021, he obtained rights of audience before the Danish High Courts and also served as Head of Department.

Today, Jonas has rights of audience before the Danish Supreme Court and has handled a wide range of cases involving, in particular, product imitation, trademark infringement, and contractual disputes.

In addition, he is admitted to practice before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
