Filing an international PCT patent application

Denmark is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty and Patrade can file an international PCT application with the Danish Patent and Trade Mark Office or an international office, eg. EPO.

The national phase application in Denmark will proceed as a national application.

Important deadlines

Patrade can file a national phase filing based on a PCT application in Denmark.
The deadline in Denmark is 31 months from the priority date.

In Denmark the national phase application may be filed in the international language but a translation into Danish must be filed within two months from the filing of a PCT application in Denmark.

Requirements

Patrade requires that our clients sign a special Power of Attorney which Patrade will forward to you.
