Filing a European patent

Denmark is a member of the European Patent Convention.
Many of Patrade’s patent attorneys are also European Patent Attorneys and can represent clients before the European Patent Office. Both Danish and international clients choose to use Patrade to apply for a European patent.

National phase

On grant of a European patent Patrade can assist you with the subsequent national phase in all the contracting states of the EPC as well as the payment of annuities.

Requirements

When filing a European patent Patrade needs the following two documents

• Designation of Inventor
• Authorization (Power of Attorney)
